    Default Korean Frameback

I got this in the mail from Bill Ellis. I had to buy it simply because I have never seen a Korean frameback before.

I'll have to get back to you on that one. I shaved BBS at 9pm yesterday. I could do some cleanup work, but I'll wait until later when I can get a full shave in.

So far all I have to go on is Bill's comment of "To overlook this razor because it is not from the traditional places of manufacture would be a mistake. It shaves as good as most razors"

Just finished up shaving. The only thing I did was a soak in Barbacide and 20 laps on plain leather.

First thing I noticed is the heft of this one. It felt far more substantial in my hand than anything else I have shaved with. I like the extra weight, it made it feel like a snowplow as opposed to a shovel. The edge was wicked sharp for certain. No pulling or skipping, just smooth easy shaving. The extra weight made my left hand S-N strokes awkward, but I figured it out without a styptic pencil. Three cheers for that. A great shaver from what I can tell, I'll report back later on how many shaves I get out of it before I need a touchup.

I finally made up my mind to buy that one and clicked..and it was sold. From experience I knew that if Bill says it's good then I'd be nuts not to pay $50 for it.
