Hey guys, I call this one the Highlander because there can be only ONE!
No joke, this little 4/8 swede is simply the finest shaver I have ever used. As a bonus, it is in almost perfect condition (it may have been honed once prior to my purchase and the box is even in good shape).

I was planning on selling this in order to help fund a tool or two, but I thought I'd give her a shave first. So I took it for a run though the hones... hmmm, it seems to really like the hones, so natural and smooth... after introducing the razor to my hones, I decided to just strop on newsprint and give it a go.

Ladies and gentlemen I no longer have any intention of letting this go. What a spectacular shave, 1 pass near BBS Can't say enough about this little razor... You Gotta get a swede!! The etching that you can't see says Skydds Marke... whatever that means (I was so surprised by the shave that I had to post this phone pic, the point looks round, but it comes down square and there is virtually zero hone wear... macro pics of the perfect etching and blade to come).

To be honest, I feel kind of bad that I got this when you guys were obviously sleeping best deal EVER!

I am afraid I do not agree with you on the amount hone wear. Judging from the one picture I would say it has been honed many times before.

The photo shows that there is some hone wear but who cares?
For some reason Swedes are very good shavers. Easy to get sharp and they also keep their edge longer than some other blades.

Nice blade! Swedish steel has always provided me with a very smooth shave!

I can't blame you from this picture, so I am going to have to put up another ... I did this with my phone and it was a bear to get any decent lighting... trust me, what you are seeing isn't an accurate representation of the wear

Now that's better with a half-decent camera there really only is a hint that it had been honed at all

Now that is a fine looking razor! Congratulations. Came perfect from the factory, apparently, from the ease of honing. Funny thing about Swedish vs American idioms-normally I wouldn't admit to having a Skid Mark , but in the case of your razor, I would quickly make an exception!
