Congrats on a GREAT score! I don't know much about the Krupp but it should shave well. Jr would live the Gillette but I think he has at least one of that model already. The W&B though, GREAT shaver! I have one that had heavy pitting on the etching so it had to go. Here's some of the results. Scales are in Yellow Heart w/ acrylic spacer, NiAg pins and ss washers.

Don't know much about Krupp but here is what I can find on the internet. The company that you know today to make coffee makers used to be in the business of making steel back as far as the 1790's and got merged out of that business. The wiki that I have read on the subject never says that krupp ever made any straights but I supect that they did since they were in the steel buisness. Its most likely that you have one of the early straights from Krupp from as early as the 1790s.

Nice finds! Shame about the scales on the WB, but she definitely looks savable. I, too have no info on the Krupp, but it's a great looking razor and should be a sweet shaver. My guess on the Krupp is 1910-30s, but that's strictly a guess. Let us know how they work for you.

    Thumbs up Great scores.

    Hey David,
Very nice scores...you just know how to find them, heh?

I think by the time Glen gets done with the Krupp, you won't recognize it .
PS: Are these part of the collection I saw when we were at your place (can't remember when)? or was it after the fact.

Thanks for the kind words sir, but i think its more luck than skill.

These where not there when you came over, if I remember correctly i found these 2 weeks after the fact. On the other hand tho, the Napa shave soap that i bought that one day is totally worth it... just so you can make your mind up easier if you haven't already.

I can't wait for the krupps to get back to me, Glen has it at the moment and I can't contain my excitement to see the end results on that one.
Also, along with the Krupp, I sent Glen this, my latest find:

Am i obsessed with shoulderless blades? Maybe

Edit: Please excuse the cellphone pictures...
