Thread: RAD... Love it or hate it it's always there... J.M.Smith & MAB

Just scored a pair of razors on fleabay.
Nothing really special, what made me want it was it's from York which is my home town and I know where the shop used to be that made them.
I already have one of these but this one looks a bit nicer as it has a barber notch and has ivory scales (I think).
As an aside it is a lot with another razor (so I get two lol), Not sure what MAB's are like but I quite like the French point on it.

Anyways here's a couple of pics off fleabay till it arrives...



I already own a J.M.Smith razor which was given to me by my folks just after I got interested in collecting and using them.



If anyone has any info on MABs that would be appreciated (as well as anything on the Smith one)

Nice work! The MAB has a good amount of info right here in the Wiki. Mine is very small, as yours seems to be. They are great little shavers. The Smith seems to have bone scales. There might be some info on it in the wiki as well. .....get it on....Tom
