Default F. Von Brosy 9/8 Steinberg meat chopper

    Hi all!

Found this today on a flea market.
It's an F. Von Brosy Steinberg meat chopper.
9/8 size. Gonna sand and polish it up to mirror finish.
    What do you guys think?

Another F. Von Brosy on SRP.

I can't wait to see what she will look like. The scales appear to be in great shape. If you are able to clean her without removing that pivot pin, that would be a definite PLUS!!

Sanded and polished the blade to near mirror finish but left a lot of pits.
If I wanted all the pits gone, I had to sand it down a lot lot more.
I was worried to ruin the razor.

Honed and ready to go tomorrowmorning.

    Now it's still over 8/8.

I would leave it at that and test the shaving quality. If the rust hasn't ruined the edge it might be good to go. Keep us posted.

9/8! Cool find! I love your use of a safety razor as a prop too.
