    Default W&B in Blivian Rosewood

I've had this 6/8 W&B for a while and after honing it has given great shaves every time I've used it. It was however a bit ragged looking so today I sanded out most of the pits and made a set of Bolivian Rosewood scales with a white acrylic wedge. The finish is Renaissance Wax. The blade was honed to 12k, stropped on .5 and .25 diamond on balsa, stropped on high linen content stationary paper, and finished on a SRD I fabric then leather.

Looks really nice. I love the old Sheffields and have several W&B's. They're all great shavers.

No stain. Just a few coats of Renaissance Micro-crystalline Wax. Next time I think I'll go the CA route. I have a W&B in Ebony with Brazilian Cherry wedge that I'm about to finish now.
