I'm pretty new, but I'd called it a faux frameback. It appears to be made of one piece of metal, and not two. Pretty sure that's the difference.

In an case, that's one nice looking razor.

    Definitely faux (which I prefer).

If Electric is the same one I'm thinking of - its the brand started by Friedmann and Lauterjung, and excellent quality. The one I have satisfies every time, and keeps me looking for more. I'll bet you're really gonna like that one. 'Very beautiful - the shoulderless design, and it should be quite hollow.

Either way you know it is of quality, not everyone can grind a faux frameback.

    Very nice job G.
I hope it shaves as good as it looks.
I can't wait for mine to arrive in the mail so I can start working on it.
    BTW I'd say it's a faux frameback.

Wasn't there a thread few days ago.....acording to the accepted wisdom of that thred this might be a 'Rattler' grind.

I just read the thread and it does look as if it would be a rattler grind its got the shoulders and then the blade is very thin all the way down so i suppose it qualifies.
