    Default Ozzy, Ozzy, Ozzy -

I haven't been doing too much photography until recently, but I have been working on razors.
This is my first Sheffield and, I've been told dates between 1830 - 1850.
It's a George Jochan and, since I only had acrylic to work with at the time, I decided to go a little patriotic and dress her in gold scales with a green wedge.
I think it turned out OK.
It shaves very well and I'm happy to add her to my occamage.
Any comments or information is appreciated

I can't tell but is that a third pin near the center of the razor? Looking great!

Very well done, clean tight workmanship

The wedge really looks well done in the pics

I drilled for a third pin BUT (of course) the tail didn't clear it so I tried to fill the hole with CA mixed with sanded acrylic - unfortunately it didn't match
Lesson learned - I'll try three pin scales again though

On ya Geoff & +1 on the cool wedge. Now I remember making the same blue with the 3rd pin one time. You can buy small coloured rhinestones from art stores etc. that would slot right into the hole with a bit of superglue. Emerald would look good & add a bit of bling.
