    Hi thought I would show off my set and see how you guys rate it, overall below, details below that.








    Joseph Elliot, Sheffield, Silver Steel Perfection Blade approx 1830 bought partial restore.



    Chris Johnson, Sheffield, The Celebrated Extra Hollow Ground Blade approx 1880 family blade actually part of a matching pair but the other is cracked sadly.



    Colquhoun & Cadman, Sheffield, The Celebrated Sheffield Hollow Ground approx 1870 Bought Full restore



    William Landell (retailer no maker mark), The Hamburg Ring Try Me date unknown Bought Full restore started off with a 3mm chip needed full regrind hear that hollow ground blade scream

    and my Pièce de résistance...



    Warburton, Sheffield, Flat Wedge Scale engraved with 1797 Family Blade Full restore.

    Well what do you guys think?

    As an American, I can't stop looking at that cigar box; Castro can't keel over fast enough-- hopefully we'll be able to get some Cubans then.

    Oh yeah, those razors are great too.

    All nice but that stub tail blows the rest of them away AFAIC. What a beauty !

    I have a couple modern hones but actually found that a Charnley Forest Green brought an incredible clean edge to the stub was slow as hell but the steel was so hard my moderns barley scratched it
