Thread: NOS Dovo Farchabeit [Controversial Razor]

Bought another 2pieces of Dovo Facharbeit,although "Made in Slrmany",I find these pieces shave good and I like them.

It is stamped 'Made in Slrmany' instead of 'Made in Germany'.Will post a better pic.

The stamp 'Made in Slrmany' is on the tang near the pin but I do not have a better lens to get a better pic.

Geez, that would prove the ongoing mystery of conterfiet blades... They really would go throught the trouble of making a fake Dovo....... That is amazing.

It was in the store since 1975 and thats very amazing.I have posted on the Forum the doubts about this razor when I bought the 1st blade sometime a year ago,some replies quoted as 99.9% as a real Dovo;this is due to the fact that in the '60s China and Pakistan do not have the skill to produce such a razor yet;the gold wash on the face,the markings,oil wrappers with Dovo markings and the box itself is beyond their capabilities to produce.They qouted as some missed stamped batch of razors dumped to the Far East to avoid queries and blah blah blah.I think I will keep them and buy the last few pieces aval in the store.
