Thread: Some good finds on the Bay

Here's my latest acquisitions, all from the mantra "bid low, bid often" - it works! There's an 8/8+ Celebrated Cast Steel Razor, 7/8 I. Barber, and a WR Wade and Butcher. And a vintage natural combo Coticule for $25 Once I get back to the workshop I'll put everything up in the Customs and Restos forum. Unfortunately the scales on the Wade and Butcher are shot. Really wanted to keep those, but at least all the flower washers are there.

Haha most of them I had to take a risk on due to crappy pictures, I just got really lucky, especially the coticule - only the beat up brown side was really shown. But turns out its a sick finisher. Still honing all the chips out of that WB though...

Yeah I was mad about that, but I think I got them close to the originals (Wade and Butcher WR restoration)

I have one decent period scale that I might use with a repro for the I Barber. I think the 8/8 might get a nice burl, I've got so much in brown horn already.
