About LinkBacksHow can I set my account so I don't get zillions of emails about who is replying to threads? I've tried unsubscribing, but I get resubscribed, and the email alerts quickly follow, every time I post.

How can I set my account so I don't get zillions of emails about who is replying to threads? I've tried unsubscribing, but I get resubscribed, and the email alerts quickly follow, every time I post.
Go to your user control panel on the right, under your screen name. In the menu on the left you'll find "edit options". There in the "Default Thread Subscription Mode", you have a choice of subscribing or unsubscribing to alerts.

go to subscribed threads
your control panel on the right
settings and options-edit options
messaging & notifications-Default Thread Subscription Mode
set to no email notification
now go back to your subscriptions, mark all and choose no email notifications
You should be ok now. Janivar and Jimmy have given you the right info, but I have already changed your settings.

Emails and subscriptions
On the issue of subscriptions, it appears I am subscribed to all threads I post to. This is totally noob, but how can I post with out auto subscribing?

I went to my subscriptions, and now I'm subscribed to this thread.
