Thread: trouble posting in classifieds

Hello,

So I've been a member for less thank 6 months but I have more than 100 posts yet I can't post in the classifieds

step one works but step 2 gives me no options

Any suggestions?

Item #1 in under "Classifieds" in the SRP Rules of Conduct:

Members wishing to post a 'For Sale' (FS) or 'For Trade' (WTT) ad must have a minimum of three (3) months of membership and no less than 100 posts or six (6) months of membership and no fewer than 50 posts. Exceptions to this rule may be made by the senior moderator team.

I am not 100% certain, but I think it goes to the exact day you joined... So if you didn't join on Nov. 1st, you might have a little bit of a wait yet.

One of the senior mods should be able to check your status... But, getting stuck on step 2 seems to almost always be a problem of having not yet met the requirements.

I joined mid to late November
so I guess I get to play the waiting game some more

As a newb to the site I have read the rules of conduct and understand them.
Do's this also apply to a purchase?
Have been trying to purchase an item in the classifieds for several days with no response from the seller,pls advise.

No, I made a purchase from the classified my second day on the forum
perhaps the seller isn't checking his/her email

Just tried to post a razor for sale and went through all three steps then when it finished it kicked me back to step one... been with SRP since November of '09... any help? Maybe I just need to wait a bit, does it take long to post to the forum?
