Thread: Classifieds: country? Euro?

Just a thought; maybe it would be nice to see the country or continent the vendor is from at the classifieds front page.

Perhaps also a possibilty to have the price in euro's (perhaps this is already possible, but i haven't seen any euro's signs there yet)

Most prices seem to be in USD. With little thinking it is easy to find out the country where the seller lives Also finding currency converter from the internet is just one click away.

I've never bought anything from the Classifieds but now as i just looked at it, would be useful idea to put also paying methods (Credit Card, Money transfer, PayPal etc).

When you create a classifieds ad you can pick the currency you like. Adding an automated currency convertor may not be free and it would not be accurate because of different shipping costs and foreign exchange fees.

i seem to remember there were problems with other currencies, paypal still used dollars, so on the paypal checkout you got the number from the other currency treated as dollars.
i'm not sure if this still is the case, but i'll suspect it is. If/when we upgrade the software it could be fixed, but it won't be in the current version.
