Thread: What razors are sought for the SRDatabase?

Every time I come across an unusual blade, I wonder if the SRDB should get photos. Is there a guideline for what is sought for the DB?

Because it is a database, I think you can put anything that is not in it already.

I think the only guidelines we have is that it not be modified(rescaled, modified with dremel, etc..). Everything is original

So I have one, possibly two razors that aren't in the database, but there's no way to know if the scales on either are original. (No way for me to know, anyway.) What would be best: include them and mention that the scales might be replacements, or ask some authority on scales first, or... ?

+1. The idea of the SRDB is to have a record (for comparison / research purposes) of original razors.
It's not just a colleciton of interesting pictures. For that we have the Gallery.

Ask an expert, who knows the brand or is experienced enough to make an educated guess.
