Thread: The "Automatic" subscription...

...As a forum owner and operator for about 20 years I'll say NOTHING is more annoying than finding a stack of messages in my email box to every message I've replied to... I get enough spam... I don't really need it from a forum I visit regularly.

How can I opt out of the automatic spam message?

Edit: I found it in settings... I hope.

I guess I'm ambivalent. I like it for most posts, because I like to see what other people are saying and I forget which posts I have responded to. Sometimes it does get annoying, but on those specific threads, I just unsubscribe. Not a big deal. Or maybe I just like getting mail........

Just in case you haven't its Via settings just change the default mode to via control panel.
