Thread: new username - Please

When I initially registered, I entered a username that was easy for me to remember. But after posting several questions and getting replies, I find that my username is a bit too close to at least one very prominent and active member. I would feel better if I could change my username.
I have been signing posts (at various points within the post) with my first name to hopefully avoid confusion.

If I register again, with a different username, can I or a moderator remove the old username?
Can a moderator have current active posts forwarded to the new registration (i'm not opposed to closing them and possibly re-opening if really needed..

just PM a mod or admin and see what can be done.

Send me a PM with your desired new username, and I will change your existing account.
You will still have your posts and PMs. Just the username will be different.

Bruno is the man shoot him a pm and you will be good, just let us know your new username so know its you.

After his username changes, will this thread still be here?
