Thread: Moderators Classifieds Help please!

I only have two active straight razors for sale, all the others have been sold. The site says i have reached my maximum amount of ads and i cannot delete the others that are in the "sold" archive. what can I do? thanks

You have to wait for the sold ads to expire unless one of the Classifieds gods has pity on you and chooses to move mountains on your behalf

After a while your sold and expired ads will stop counting towards the total and you can list more. When will that happen I don't know.

The software is what it is and if it doesn't work for you, there is always the option to not use the classifieds.
It's a free service that we provide, and there is only that much that we can do to support it. We're doing the best we can with the resources we have.

I'd say for a website that's ran on completely voluntarily basis without soliciting contributions from members we're punching far above our weight - just see where the other online forums are at.

Just for clarity: it's not that we don't want to help you.
The classifieds system is an external add-on, and we have no influence on what it does or how it does it.
And much of it is undocumented towards us (the end user) so there is not much we can do.

Lazy developers

Just a thought, but edit the sold razors in the archive so that they expire in 7 days, maybe that will help. I set my sales to run 7 days and renew if I have to. I haven't had this problem so I'm just guessing on this possible solution.
