New Forums?

Hello strangers.

We've tossed the idea around for quite some time of expanding SRP past the laser focus of straight razors, and wet shaving. And I wanted to get some feedback from the group on your feelings?

Would you be interested in more forums, more articles, more STUFF on more topics? Cigars, Knives, Clothes, Beer, etc?

I would like to see more articles and vids. But I don't think expanding into Cigars, booze, etc is necessarily the way to go. I mean we already have a forum for the finer things in life.

Well I think "finer things in life" forum covers the extras we may want to discuss with our fellow friends here. As for more forums with other topics I just dont see it. I mean it's SRP and this is what we do here. Wet shaving and a lot of in depth conversations that the average person would never have is here. I get the idea of other forums but I just think it pushes away from the roots of what is here now.

Yeah that! I certainly don't mind the side discussions relative to cigars, pipes, hats, Norweigan cheerleaders, good books, music, movies, etc. but the side discussions should remain just that. If SRD were to diversify to forums specific to these other things, I suspect it would detract from what brings most of us to the dance, that is the love of good old fashioned, no plastic, shaving like a man was meant to shave. My input, don't you go changin' SRP (obligatory Ron Burgundy reference)
