Found this stuff locally here in NC and decided that with such superb reviews, it was worthy of a try. I'm a lime junky and was not disappointed with the scent or the performance. While not cheap, it seems that the amount of cream needed to build a good lather is minimal thereby reducing the cost to pennies.

Thanks for all the reviews on this. Very good stuff.

I had received some samples a long time ago. I found it very hard to use the stuff as the texture is very stiff. I figured it may have been because of the size of the sample. I finally ordered a Cedar and Sandalwood from SRD. I love the cream but I have to use it like a puck of soap. It has such a stiff consistency compared to the Salter's that I am used to. It is indeed the best cream I have used though.

    Jimmy,

Hmm. I have a tub of the Cedarwood and Cedarwood. For the life of me I can't figure out where the Sandalwood is secreted because that element is hidden from my nose (under a pile of sawdust --Hah!) My jar is of a rather soft consistency, so much so that if I am not careful I could get a good tablespoonful on my brush. So to get a reasonably controlled amount to its place of lathering, I have to take a dollop out of the tub on the end of a piece of plastic picnic flatware.

Being a master of self flagellation I also bought a tub of CF lavendar Yup. learning comes slow for some.

    Good suds though.

Well Bruce I can scoop the almond sized dollop out and put it in my shaving bowl but when I rinse it out after the shave there will still be an almond shaped hunk of the stuff stuck to the bottom of the bowl.

I use my CF Limes like a soap and face lather.

Jimmy I had that problem too when I first used the CF cream. What I do now is get an almond sized dollop and mash it on the bottom of my bowl with my thumb. It spreads out a little and theres nothing left at the end of the shave.
