Default CO Bigelow Shaving Cream Proraso made

After returning that nasty cream by Anthony at Bath and Body Works. The salesperson asked me if there was anything else they could do for me. So I said yes, I need a good shaving cream. So they took me over to the CO Bigelow wall and gave me the Shaving cream made for them by Proraso.

I remember someone had mentioned on SRP about Proraso so I fiugred I'd give it a try.

I'm so glad I did, It lathered up very nicely. I squeezed some onto my wet brush and swirled it up in my bowl. I had lathered up and my mother in law knocked on the bathroom door needing to use the loo. My downstairs bathroom needs replacing. I let her in and I walk over to my computer room all lathered up and waited for her to finish. A couple of minutes later I hear some lysol spraying, I went back to the bathroom and I was expecting to find my face all covered with dry lather. To my surpirse, I still had a nice faceful of lather .

So for $10.00 and a nice minty feeling with long lasting lather. I give CO Bigelow Shave cream thumbs up.

It leaves a nice minty feeling on the face.

    I'll second that...

When things go wrong with any other soap or creme the CO/Proraso comes to the rescue.

I find C.O. Bigelow/Proraso to be a good performing cream but I'm not a fan of the menthol. It irritates my skin a bit, unfortunately. . .

I picked up a tube last weekend and used it a couple of times. I really liked the burn. Good slick and a nice shave. The only issue I had was it dried out my scalp a little.

In addition to all the other positive comments made, I'd like to add one new point.

Proraso is very easy to use insofar as you can use a bit too much water or not quite enough and still get a great lather. I actually like to add a bit of water as I go; I find less water initially gives a thicker lather with more cushion, but adding more water for the touchups makes the lather more transparent so I can see better, and it becomes a bit slicker as well.

I've never tried the Bigelow but the regular proraso green tube is fantastic! I can't find it locally at my drug store for $6.99 canadian. At first I didn't really care for it but now it's my go to cream. It makes me want to try other proraso products like their soaps and aftershaves.

I picked one up at Bath and Body Works as well and I agree... nice easy to use cream with good lather and nice menthol kick.
