I tried the old formula, and liked it. I got 2 tubs at their closeout.
I also have the Maca root, both tub are together in my den. The new formula's scent is more "fresh". I sometimes superlather it with proraso to get an ultra fresh shave. I prefer the Maca Root scent personally, the other one is more a vitamin scent (hard to desribe).
Both creams give me great shaves and are very hard to beat for the price... except maybe the old Florena, but I didn't compare the price/weight.

Woo hoo!
I've been using The Body Shop's shaving cream for months now, and I think it's fantastic! The only difference I've found between the old cream and the maca root is the smell, but I love it! It's so fresh, and I always get comments on how nice the bathroom (and the whole upstairs!) smells after I shave.
There's a Body Shop pretty much at every mall here, it's very easy for me to pick up a refil. And at $12-15 (don't remember the price exactly) it's not a hard choice for me!

A Newbie....Forever!
I had my 1st shave with this product this morning.
Excellent product!
I have not tried the older formula, but I understand the scent is the biggest difference. Well, I find the scent for this new product to be very nice. It has a clean nice scent to it. The cream lathers very well and is one of the best moisturizers out there. It almost has the feel of MWF with it's lanolin effect. - and that's a great compliment. It really feels nice after the shave. Can't keep my hands off my face.
Yes, I like this product very much and I will definately purchase this again. - and for me, with all the soaps and creams I have, that's saying a lot.

I love this stuff as well, not that I have many others to compare it with, this and Tabac are my only decent soaps. I get a much nicer lather with the Macca Root than I can with Tabac, probably its my technique.
I also really enjoy the way the bathroom smells afterwards.
