I haven't gotten around to trying her products yet (chasing 40 or so other holy grail soaps LOL), but I don't think it should be said that she shouldn't be in business.

I'm glad to know the option of her soaps is out there, and I'm glad to know that it might take a while to get anything I order. But both issues (high quality/inconsistent fulfillment) are really out there so hopefully no one is being shocked anymore.

It's just disappointing when something that should be shocking is so commonplace that it's not shocking

I agree hoglahoo, but it's also kind of part of the artisan thing - I'd rather have options that I can blow off if I don't want to deal with the quirkiness than not have options.

I ordered two of her soaps the Dragons Blood, and Bay Rum. They both arrived within 10 days of purchase. I am fairly new to SR shaving and IMHO her soaps are very good. They both have provided good cushion and slickness for my shaves. I have in my rotation Sandalwood from AOS, Truefitt & Hill 1805, Prorasso, Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood, and Col Conk Bay Rum. Her soap shaves as well as most of the ones I listed, but not quite as well as the 1805, or the Taylor of Old Bond Street. It may be that those two previously listed were creams and not soap bars. But I do like both of the soaps I purchased from her and will be a repeat customer.

I got two samples of the hard soap and have shaved a few times with the lanolin+tallow sample in her "Energizing" scent. It's very good shave soap, with just enough fragrance to smell nice while shaving but not so much that it hangs on too long afterward. I don't think you'd need be concerned about it clashing with your choice of aftershave. I can't fairly rate it against MWF because I haven't used it long enough to be certain I've found the soap's "sweet spot", but I'd put it in the same class as The Fat.

    Default I'm happy ...

I ordered 5 pucks from Prairie Creations because I couldn't make up my mind on scents. The three that I've dipped in to are all great latherers, and give good shaves. I was a little (very little) disappointed in the Old Spice and Clubman Pinaud scents as they didn't seem to nail the smell, but were certainly nice ... and you don't really expect to keep that scent on your face much beyond the shave. I also have the Lavender and two others ... the scents are all very nice and not too strong, not too subtle. Prices are very reasonable, IMO, and there are TONS of options on scent.

Also, as to shipping time, I think I ordered back in March some time, and received my order within about 10 days ... I certainly don't remember thinking shipping time was a problem. So ... given that, and the more recent posts, I would suggest giving her a chance ... especially for such an effective and reasonably priced product.

    Default Prairie creations

I ordered one of these 3.5 oz cakes on ebay. $8.50 + shipping.

Note that "wool fat" = lanolin.

I ordered the kind with tallow (beef fat) as the first ingredient and aloe included.

I'll let you know how it works after I've received it.
