Thread: i want a manly shaving soap

I am currently using willians shaving cream, and i want a different smell, but i don't want a perfume like smell, i want a fragrant that will wake me up in the morning.

Ha, that's the first thing that I thought of when I read the title! I also like the smell of Sandalwood, it's got a musky sort of smell.

It doesn't get more manly than this ; I guess you could shred a little off and add a little glycerin.

I think someone should do a bovril and Tabasco scented soap.

I would try it myself but I have heard that it eats up the brush and I only have one right now.
And everybody thought slurry was for honing

Now you can shave and hone at the same time!

1). Tabac, the manliest smell I can think of, it's also my favorite soap outside of Mitchel's Wool Fat.
2) Is Arko manly? I don't know but it smells like lemon cleaner or something.

The gentlemen's Quarter is down and may not reopen but Coleen's soaps are amazing and she offered great scents like Desert Ironwood. I really hope she opens again, I miss that stuff...

Tabac would be my pick too, For Shave Cream, I'd say Xpec, but I don't think it's on the market yet. Check out Handmade Shaving Soaps, Mama Bears Soaps

She has quite a few "Manly" fragrances including "Mens Cologne" shave soap. Good stuff too....
