    Default Which Penhaligon's Shaving Cream

    Hello guys,

I am hoping to get some help from you guys. I am going to graduate really soon from college. I was thinking of getting a Penhaligon's shaving cream, and maybe a brush, as a treat for myself for graduating.

Which Penhaligon's shaving shaving cream would you get. I am leaning heavily towards Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet, which seems like a classic shaving cream with a very nice container. What do you guys think of Endymion and Opus 1870.

Would you guys recommend something other than Penhaligon's also?

Thanks for helping me out. I really look forward to your thoughts and replies.

Oh yes, that is fine options, all of them.
I have all three, and let me tell you, you cannot go wrong with any of them

As you are soon to graduate, I'm gonna ssume you are quite young.
Given that assumption, I would recommend the Endymion.
The Opus 1870 is also nice, but a rather weak smell without any staying power.
The Endymion seems to get me the most positive remarks from the younger people I meet.

But again, all three are top notch, with good scent and shaving performance.

I have to agree with B, the Endymion would be my pick as well.

That's by far my favourite cream, lathers well and smells fantastic. Good choice, I know you'll love it!

Hello, altshaver: Any of the Penhaligon's products are worth experiencing, as these gentlemen have noted. I use Blenheim Bouquet. Although Penhaligon's shave cream falls slightly short of expectation for me, I nevertheless have high regard for it. Good stuff, all of it.

I've yet to try Penhaligons (it's near the top of my list), but for shaving creams I would strongly recommend Castle Forbes. It's number 2 of my all-time favs. I would have recommended my #1, Domenico Caraceni, but it seems to be hard to find these days

Another + for the Endymion. I also really enjoy the Blenheim Bouquet. Both of these are reserved for more special shaves for me but imho there is nothing better. CF's are my day to day choices in lavender, lime and sandalwood. They are also excellent shave creams.

Five for Endymion. I'm still blaming Stubear for getting me onto this near bloody impossible to locate shave cream (well here in Australia it's hard to find). It's good stuff. I can't vouch for the other choices but if they're anything like Endymion, you can't lose.
