Default The worst cream I have ever used!!,

    SheaMoisture Home

Ok so that's the site but I picked it up at Walmart. I picked up some shave butter. First of all it is not pleasant to smell at all. Did not want to leather what so ever. I kept adding water and cream working it with the brush for a good 10 min. Nothing at all just a some gu in the scuttle. I tried to shave with it and wow does this stuff stink. Not pleasent on the face either dripped all over the place. Maybe I just spoiled by my other soaps and creams.

Has any one tried this besides me lol

Maybe some one can help me get the stench out of my brush and face.

I've never heard of it, but have you tried lathering it without a scuttle? Some soaps simply do not like the heat a scuttle puts out, making the lather break down quickly.

On the other hand, looking at the description, are you sure it's not a non-lathering product? If it is any attempt to produce a lather would just be futile....

The shea shave butter is no good for wet shaving purposes as it is a no lather formula. Will work good for carts as it will reduce clogging but thats not why we are here. If you need a cheap brush there pure badger brush is very highly recommended. (It was my first brush and has held up very nicrly) And some of there post shave products have been recommended also.

I've heard about the smell in the past, but also have heard that this is a non-lathering formula. I've been told that it makes a pretty good preshave.

It also works great in the winter if you get chapped hands. Just rub a little in your hands and you're good to go.

Get your self some essential oils that you like and mix them in. You could also try menthol crystals, but be careful, both are easy to over-saturate.
