    Default L'occitane

So during a trip to mall this weekend with my fiance she drug me into L'occitane. I had no idea they carried mens shaving products so it wasn't so bad after all. I was in need of an aftershave balm which was actually on my list for purchases that day so I picked up their cade balm. Tried it out when I got home and was impressed. Love the smell, moisturizing and the fact it left no greasy residue. Pretty much had everything I look for including a decent price point. My question is has anyone else tried their other products like their creams, soaps or pre shave oil? I was hoping someone would have reviewed it but no luck.

    Thumbs up

Congrats....The Cade balm is excellent stuff indeed. That's one of favorite stores to visit when I get to the mall (once every blue moon).

Next time you're there, pick up a puck of their shave soap, shave creme and cologne too. My wife and I also love their bath soap and Shea butter creme (in tin can).

I've heard good things about these products. There's one opening up near my workplace, so I think a visit will be in order.

L'Occitane Cade has become one of my instant favourites. I usually experiment with soaps and creams before forming an opinion, but I somehow knew this was a keeper after lather session #1. It has all the qualities I look for in a soap: moisture, cusion, easy lathering and a nice scent. Definitely worth purchasing.

The cream, on the other hand, seems to get very mixed reviews. I've not tried it myself, but I've heard it's not as good as the soap. I have sampled some of their EdT's and they are nice. I've been meaning to pick up a bottle of their Vetiver, which smelled great, but haven't got around to it yet (which really means I haven't got around to spending the money yet ).

The Cade shaving soap may be my favorite scent of all the soaps I got. Too bad the shave cream doesn't smell remotely similar.
And IMO the cream sucks used by itself, but making a superlather with the soap is superb.

The L'Occtaine cade soap and ASB are keeper's for sure. I'm surprised there's no formal review. We'll have to take care of that...

    Hello, bottomfeeder,
Yes, L'Occitane Cade is a fine soap. I've used it for years. The balm is good, too. The shave cream, however, could be better.
