Default Just got my first order of Tabac

So I decided to order some Tabac in the bowl it comes in.... After a dance with Amazon (they lost my order) I finally get the soap, and immediately decided to whip up some lather to see what it can do..

All I can say is....WOW, I whipped it with my badger brush for about 30 seconds and had some seriously rich, creamy lather, all my other creams/soaps needed glycerin to get really awesome and this did it right out of the gate (or bowl in this case LOL)

I also really like the scent, not overpowering but really pleasing on the nose....

Looking forward to shaving with this tomorrow...

(Also have some MWF on order, can't wait to see how that does )

Glad you're liking the Tabac. The scent is love-it-or-leave-it, and I happen to be in the "love it" camp . I'm sure your shave will be great.

PS - If you dig Tabac, wait until you try MWF. Though it's not as easy to lather, MWF's moisturizing properties are second to none.

Mcgyver74, there's a drugstore on 34th st. In Manhattan that sells it for 18.95 plus tax. Between Madison and Park. Forgot the name, but I can find it if you need.

While Ryan and I tend to be similar on soaps and creams I am definately in the "leave it" camp!!

    Gentlemen,
I somehow cannot imagine a shave den without Mitchell's Wool Fat and Tabac. They are superb soaps, staples, and a puck of each lasts for about a century. Since I feel they stand on their own, I don't see the need to spike them with cream and glycerin. They are just fine by themselves.
