    Default Kiehl's Anyone?

I recently received a tube of Kiehl's menthol brushless shaving cream as a gift and after trying it several different ways, I'm pretty well convinced this is the worst product on the market. First of all, I don't understand how you shave without wetting your face, so after only one splash of hot water and using my hand to apply, the cream was melting off my face. I also tried using my brush which seemed to actually remove the "cream" from my face. Has anyone else used this product with a SR? If so, please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong, it's just a bad product...

Yeah...Kiehl's isn't known for their shaving products for a reason. Although, I do like their face cleansers, toners, & moisturizers.

It's too bad and surprising as I agree, their other products are great. They're "Ultimate Man" bar of soap is incredible. Oh well, can't get everything right!

I've found that their aftershave is actually pretty good. I tried it once and did NOT like the smell, but I couldn't help but notice how moisturizing it was. I tried it again when the weather got a little chilly last month and I've really taken a liking to it. The smell is still not good - it's not horrible, but it's definitely NOT the typical pleasantly scented AS balm - but it puts out the fire, isn't tacky, and is completely absorbed in 10 minutes or so.

The shave cream isnt the best stuff in the world, but I keep a tube of it in my gym bag, as I'd rather use that than the crap in a can. As far as other products go, I like their hair/body wash and hand lotion.
