    Merry Christmas!

    It seems that the attraction of mentholated shave products is their cooling effect. I've taken to cold water shaving and it makes Proraso and Mama Bear's "Ice" soaps COLD! (especially in the winter in Colorado)

    I'll have to admit I've never tried them with hot water because it would seem the effect would cancel.

    Thoughts?

    It doesn't cancel it totally, but the Ice effect is definitely not as pronounced! I pretty much use cold water on everything though because I prefer a cold shave.
