Thread: Opinions / Favourites - Truefitt and Hill Shaving Creams and Soaps?

Hello Guys,

I am new to both straight razor shaving and the SRP Forum and would just like to know if anyone has a favourite Truefitt and Hill Shaving Cream or Soap?

I began wet shaving a little over 2 months ago and have found the T&F Ultimate Comfort Shaving Cream excellent however i would like to make another purchase but would like to hear of others opinions on the brand and its range of creams and soaps.

Never thought I'd say this but the Rose is my fave! Didn't think I'd like it but I can't get enough of the stuff for some reason...

I'm with you. Tried various creams and soaps over the years, but been stuck on T&H Ultimate Comfort for more than a year now. Once I find something that works, I tend to stick with it. I've also found that I prefer unscented shaving cream. There's already plenty of scent in my aftershave and cologne, and I don't want to have to coordinate everything with the cream...

I've tried them all, and Trafalgar is my favorite scent by far!

Considering the difference of opinions you have/will receive just get a sample pack and make up your own mind.

This was the route I went down and now 1805 is my favourite cream and west indian limes is my fave ASB.

I have tried almost all the Truefitt & Hill shave creams and find them of the highest quality. I still use Ultimate Comfort. The 1805 is good. The rose is lovely. Yes, your best bet would be a sampler pack, which Truefitt & Hill sells. That way you'll decide for yourself. You can't go wrong with any of the Truefitt & Hill products.

I like the Trafalgar best.

I hadn't previously seen the sample packs as I had only purchased through Australian retailers but as noted I can purchase directly off T&H.

Look forward to trying all their products since they have so many positive reviews.
