    Default Crabtree and Evelyn

    Hey Everyone

I just discovered a Crabtree and Evelyn store in my city. They have 3 different soaps/creams, Sandalwood Siena and Nomad.
Has anyone used these products? Any opinions out there?

    Cheers

Really? Where? I got some Nomad soap from the Shaver Shop ages ago, it's really nice, and it's lasting ages. I'm a bit 'over' Sandalwood scents....

BTW, I use the Nomad soap generally in an Überlather, not by itself...

    Hey Carl

Its in Regent arcade off rundle mall. The same arcade that has the shaver shop in the mall anyway. I may just have to try a puck of soap.

I've got sandalwood and nomad, I'm happy with them, and when I have to replenish I'll get sienna as well.

Their products seem to be well regarded without being magnificent. I was going to buy the Sandalwood soap, but decided not to because I already had several Sandalwood products. The scent was pleasant enough. Perhaps I'll try it someday.

I also had a sniff of their Nomad soap. It's the only shaving scent I've come across that made me gag. Others will disagree. Seems to be a love-it-or-leave-it scent.

I get the same reaction to the Nomad, however the Sienna is one of my favorite scents.

Oh, cool, I'll check it out :-) The Nomad has quite a nice scent and lathers quite well...

There's a trove of soap/cream reviews here, and even more at

    www.badgerandblade.com

But there's so much variation in individual taste -- especially in scent -- that it's hard to know whether or not you'll like something, until you try it out.

PS -- Some of the high-end places have sample packages, free or cheap. Body Shop and L'Occitane both do.

I use the Nomad, the best creme that I've tried; love the scent.

I've got the Sandalwood and I quite like that, I had a sniff of the Nomad in the store and I will be buying that most definately at some stage.
