Default Ordered from a vendor online and have heard zilch from them .

    Hello all ,

Hope this is in the right place . So I placed an order ( very small ) with Rasage Poulin ( see link ) :

Rasage Poulin Fine Shaving and Grooming Products: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Unfortunately , I've had no feedback from the company at all . I sent an email to find out about my order and tried to call as well - but the voice mail box , was full !

I read on here that someone said Fendrihan is closing , so I wonder if Rasage Poulin is too ?

If anyone knows more than me , please enlighten me !

    Cheers and thanks ,

    Scott

    Hello Scott,
I bought two items from Fendrihan last week and they arrived within a few days. I am not sure whether or not they are closing shop; however, I, too, read somewhere that Rasage Poulin was closing shop. Our Canadian friends might be on top of the story and perhaps they will enlighten us.

This was posted on B&B Shaving Canada Group on 09-30-2011:

"Scott is shutting down Rasage Poulin, due to health reasons I think. Beyond the fact that most of his wares are now discounted ~20%, if you're looking to pick anything up soon, peruse his site and support a Canadian vendor (and an all-round good guy) if possible.

    Scott,

As the others have noted it is indeed Rasage Poulin, not Fendrihan, which is reputed to be in the process of closing. I say reputed because the closing was announced some months ago, yet their website is still up and running without nary a mention of their status. There was actually a thread about this a day or so ago.

That being said, I regret to inform you that if you placed a recent order you may be out of luck. There are many posts on this topic at another wetshaving forum, where well more than one customer got burned. The lack of communication doesn't seem to be new.

    Good luck.

It would have been extremely helpful , to have the closing down - mentioned on his website . I know other vendors even post on their site , when they are away on holidays - so orders will be later getting out .

Despite all that , I wish Scott all the best and a full recovery from his health situation .

    Cheers,

    Scott

Don't get me wrong, so do I. Scott is extremely knowledgeable and very hospitable too. I was sad to hear that he was closing shop.
