Thread: Where do I get glycerin and how do I use it?

Just as the title says, I'm interested in how to use and buy glycerin. I went to Walmart and Walgreens and couldn't find it. And how would you use it with shaving soap?

Glycerin is usually found in the first aid section. Ask the pharmacist if you can't find it. Put 5-8 drops in your bowl when you are whipping up your lather. That's how I use it. Got mine at Walgreens.

Also try where the hand creams are or stuff like Polysporin, I've seen it in both sections, usually half hidden on a lower shelf. I got mine at the local grocery store.

I got it at Whole Foods Markets. In there health and vitamin section.

I found some at Walmart. It wasn't easy to find, on one of the lower shelves near where the bandages, Vaseline, etc. are.

Found mine at CVS I believe. I put 5 drops in my scuttle before I start building my lathers. Adds just a bit more slickness to the lather.

I get mine at Walmart for 3 bucks. I use it in place of oil on my Charnley Forest Stones.

I found mine at The Vitamin Shoppe - also available on line.

Rite-Aid sells it... thats where I got mine

If you dont see it just ask them ...

craft store..candy and cake decorating section will have it too
