    Well, it actually is a fairly loud shaver as well. It's just that the edge doesn't bend as much as a really full hollow.

    Default DOVO Stainless Steel

    DOVO's stainless steel blades gives me always BBS shaves and keep their edge very well.
    I compare them to the TI new silver steel (Silverwing)!

    I didn't used to stock the Rene, thinking it a tad 'showy' but, after honing one up for a customer, I changed my mind: it looks MUCH better in real life than in the Dovo pics, and honed up smoothly to a very workable edge. Nice one!

    That was exactly my first impressions as well. I thought it looked tacky in the pics....in hand it actually looks and feels excellent. Mine honed up smooth and easy, no surprises--except for what a great edge it took and was able to hold for quite q long time!
