This razor is a GREAT! shaver and it comes almost shave ready. I like pretty much everything about this razor. I thought that it would also be nice to describe my experience buying from The English Shaving Company. At first, I was a bit reluctant to order from this store as it is not in the US. I find both Tania and Tatiana very pleasant to do business with. Their response to my messages was ultra fast and the information provided was very accurate. The product was packed flawlessly with a detailed invoice, general instructions about shaving and a small sample of other Edwin Jagger product (which I also liked ;-)). This is exactly what I look for, great products and service. I will not hesitate to buy from them in the future.

    Al raz.

Default Le Grelot and pricing on The English Shaving Company site

    Happy New Year all
Just some comments for information. With the fluctuations in the currency markets we have changed our rates but some may still find the a little high. If you choose to pay in GB pounds (sterling) then you will get charged the exchange by your bank or credit card company which may be beneficial to you when you look at the final cost. You will still not pay tax if you are in a non EU zone.
We are almost out of the Le Grelot razors and there are no more for now!
I shall be adding our new straight razors to the site in the next few weeks and will let you know when they are available.
    Cheers - Sheafshaver

    Received one for Christma.

    Well finnished razor.

Had to tune it up to get it shave ready.

I am not use to the heft of this type razor.

Seems like a hatchet comared to my Wonderedge.

I am well satisfied with this razor. It is an outstanding value.

    Default Grelot's are gone

I checked Jagger's site this morning for new straights and found that the Grelots are no longer listed. It was a great offer while it lasted. No new straights yet either. I also found that the Dutch retailer DeKoordenwinkel is almost out of TIs. Straights may be recession prof!

It apears you must have picked off one of the last ones. Consider yourself lucky as they are no longer made.
