    1095 is supposed to be some good stuff. I have a nice little knife made of 1095.I feel RAD coming on.

    Thats outstanding Bruno .Now you got me thinking again about japanese style straights. I must agree with you I couldnt adapt to the asymetrical grind either so I have now parted company with my Tosuke's.

    The best thing about a custom is you can get exactly what you want. I might choose a slightly longer cutting edge. It would be fun to try such a hybrid regardless. I like it. The hammered style is cool imo.

    I really like the case too. Pretty crafty solution Russ. The hamon is a great addition.

    I'm really glad you showed this one off Bruno; congrats on a cooll little tool.
