Ok thanks Bill, I could even possibly use the practice strop for pastes and such once Im finished practicing with it.

I finally sprayed both sides of the Felt strop, one side with the original .50 Diamond and now the other side has .25 Diamond....
I have used this on a few of my personal razors so far, and without a doubt in my mind what so ever, the diamond spray on felt produces a "smoother" edge then diamond paste in the same grits on leather....

I am finding more and more that the paste and spray media work really well with the felt material and that has been on either the hanging felt or the flat bed. Excellent results.

Another thought that I have here on this strop, I have always dissuaded newer shavers from using a hanging pasted strop for at least 1 year, or until they become very proficient at stropping, because a pasted hanging strop can wipe out a perfectly great edge with just a mis-stroke or two....
This strop is much more forgiving, in that aspect over a leather hanger, so it would be a great first pasted hanger.... of course JMHO.. YMMV yada yada yada...
+1 On your felt hanging strop or on the Hand American flat bed with the felt I got way better results with the spray then I did with the paste. Maybe the way I applied the paste wasn't as even ?One way or the other the 0.5 spray is the hot stuff IME and the felt hanger is my go to paste vehicle now. For some reason I don't even need the chrom ox afterwards to tone down the harshness. It doesn't seem to get harsh after I use the spray where it did with the paste.
