    Rob,
    My apologies but I was under the impression a vendor could answer questions on his reviewed product. Questions were asked and I offered explanations and my own questions based on the product reviewed in response.

    I was concerned about a design flaw and wanted it known in the review along with my rational.

    I edited my post to remove my design criteria on my strops since you feel it was off topic.

    @ Tony,

    I know the feedback is valuable for you and you pay attention to it, I just don't want to drown out the actual reviews.

    thanks Tony!

    [quote=Earthdawn;310463]Tony Millers 3" Tri-Strop

    3" Red Latigo/Horsehide/Linen

    With all the options added the total came to $160. Tony expressed his concern to me about having a strop in that price range. We spoke through email about it and the short story is I explained how some or many of us here like custom pieces that meet our individual needs. Not many companies can do that anymore. Price on a quality custom piece has to be higher and it is expected. So if you feel as I do then send Tony a PM and let him know.

    You know I just did some math on that, being the OCD anal retentive guy that I am....

    If that strop were to only give 10 years of service, which we all know is being stupidly conservative..... You would be at a massive .04 cents every day Not a bad deal to use that baby...

    Great review and write up !!!!! Thank you....

    Beautiful Strop TM

    I found a simple way to keep the linnen out of my way. I placed a thumb tack in the wall above the strop and use it to hang the linnen while using the latigo. This works well for me.
