I know Tony's pretty busy at the moment so at a guess I'd say it's probably not too late to change your order, I would doubt he's shipped it already if you only ordered yesterday.

He'll probably respond to this thread shortly, I presume you've emailed him?

It's never too late to change and order. Even if you already got it I'd gladly switch for another if unused. No worries.

Tough call on the leathers they each respond a bit differently but do the same job in the end. I use both about equally along with a few vintage strops in my rotation.

The honey brown tends to feel more like a Jemico or other commercial strop. Lighter draw, more delicate feel when stropping. I often use it for my full hollow and lighter feeling razors. The latigo has much more draw and a stronger resisitance when stropping. I ue ine for thicker razors but not always.

Most of the reviews have been based on the Latigos I used so maybe that is the safest bet if unsure.

Quite a few guys have both so maybe one will stroll by later and give a less biases <g> opinion. I am not as convinced the leather will make as much difference in the final outcome as careful use and developing a feel for the stropping procedure. I have samples made form a variety of leather I experiement with all all do a nice job.

    Hope this helps,
    Tony

Like Tony said, the honey brown is a well suited to full hollows and the latigo is great for wedges. Both will strop your razor so maybe for personal pref try his practise strops in each before you buy the fancy article.
