    Hi Kerger,

I believe that The Art of Shaving is based in New York, and has several stores there. I know that they sell at hanging strops. The following link is for their page that shows the New York locations:

    Best of luck!

I don't think Tony Miller does walk-in customer anyway.

If your friend was going to stay in New York long enough to order from Tony Miller online, then he can order from Straight Razor Designs.

Here is the link: The Strop Shop : Straight Razor Designs, The Finest In Gentlemens Shaving And Grooming Needs

    Hi!
In straightrazordesigns.com, the strops is made for Tony Miller?
    Which optimum strop?
I go to list some strops ok.
    1-STRAIGHT RAZOR DESIGNS 3" PREMIUM I LEATHER STROP $84.99
2-STRAIGHT RAZOR DESIGNS 3" PREMIUM II LEATHER STROP $89.99
3-STRAIGHT RAZOR DESIGNS 3" PREMIUM III BUFFALO LEATHER STROP $89.99
4-STRAIGHT RAZOR DESIGNS 3" RED LATIGO STROP AND WEBBED FABRIC $69.99
5-STRAIGHT RAZOR DESIGNS 3" BLACK LATIGO STROP AND WEBBED FABRIC $69.99

    Which is the best?
I have that to say pra it today still stops it buying and delivering in the hotel where it this housed. Therefore thus I do not pay to sending expenditure ok.
    Thanks
    Ale

I have strops from several of the top makers and I like the SRD Premium 1 the best. Don and Lynn have told me that they recommend the "I" as the best for all around use. Email Don about your specialized delivery requirement. He is fanatical about customer service and I know he will go out of his way to get you what you need.

You might also consider trying their felt strop and diamond spray to go with your new strop. Outstanding stuff.

+1 to what Bill said. The premium 1 has the perfect draw (resistance) for my hand. When stropping the razor some strops have little or no resistance while others have so much that I have to be really careful due to my particular stropping method that I don't miscue and cut the strop. The premium 1 is just right for me.

The felt with the diamond spray is great on a final touch to tough steels like S30V or ATS 34 as well as bringing a blade back if it just needs a touch up.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
