    Default Pasted Stropping?

Just got my first pasted/sprayed strop. For those of you who tape the razor spine while honing, I was wondering if you also tape while stropping on pasted or sprayed strops?

If it is a hard balsa strop I might but not on leather or felt. Just IMHO

I have a paddle strop with CroOx on it and right after the hones I strop with the tape still on..not sure how much it matters but the way I look at it is it keeps that angle from honing with tape as minute as it may be.

    Cool

I am with Jimmy on this..

    Tape comes off,,,
I have never actually used Balsa myself, so I would probably want to feel the flex before deciding.. my first thought would be to leave the tape on though if I were using Balsa

+1, take it off on a hanging strop and leave it on for a solid/paddle strop.
