    Default Strop Gremlins.

    Anyone else have strop gremlins.

I was working on a couple razors last night, and everything was great. No stropping this morning, and then this evening I'm working on another razor. I go to strop it and WHAT....there is a good knick in my strop, about three inches from the handle.

    Strop gremlins.

You'd think I'd remember such an event had it occurred under my watch.

It's been crazy glued and sanded, and is back to normal.

    I just wanted to vent.

Thank you for being patient and listening.

If my neighbours want to use my razors they have two options. Option one.....ask. Option two....come to the Toronto Meet on May 28th (no harm in a little plug for it here and there).....

    Haha.

Hmm it could be the gf too!

Wanted to see what the fuss was all about.

Or it was col. Mustard in the study with the razor...

In that case he should come to the Toronto meet to improve his stropping. Lol

There was an infestation of them about a year ago in Oslo as well.
I believe I got most of them, but just to be safe, I'm still on guard at all times

    B,

I'm glad you got most of the strop gremlins in Oslo. I think you may have spilled a glass of water on one, because it and his friends seem to have migrated to Canada.

    LOL, sorry about that buddy.
If I ever encounter any more of them, I'll be sure to head them in another direction.

Strop gremlins used to bend my strop while I was gone. They stopped bothering me when I moved my strops away from cabinet drawers my toddler likes to open and shut with gusto
