    Default Suede Panel strop.

Has anyone use a suede panel strop.? What is the difference between suede and leather as it relates to keeping your razor in good condition?
    Any noticeable pros and cons?
    Thanks

The only strop I have with a suede component is a Kanayama 80,000. It is meant to be used after the linen, and before the leather. It seems to be fine, and I've read guys say they really like it. Putting any paste on it would kill the suede, so I wouldn't recommend it for that.

Rough leather like that available with the SRD Lynn Abrams modular paddle is good for pastes, but I leave mine plain and apply paste to the wool/felt component. I don't know of any other suede strop but that on the 80,000, but there may be some.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
