Default NON XLL strop CO. NY. / is it Unwin & Rogers / the conundrum

Searching for NON XLL STROP CO.NY. on Google found a post in SRP forum about the trademark ''NON XLL '' granted to UNWIN & ROGERS
in 1838 to 1865 , at which time 1865 Joseph Rogers & Sons took over the trademark . my conundrum begins when i find a picture
perfect match of the strop I own on a known collectors website identifying it as the , '' Perfect Belt Strop # 20 made by none other than
the '' NON XLL Strop CO. of NY. that said , did Joseph Rogers & Sons make strops in or for a customer in NY or did Unwin & Rogers
actually make the strop or was there really a company called NON XLL STROP CO. in NY. this is my conundrum , I believe the collector I speak of has over 1700 pieces in his collection so I trust his judgement to be true and valid .
so the search continues , the commitee in my noggin is having a field day with this .
p.s. I have as yet to find any info on the , '' NON XLL STROP CO. of NY. ''
I do hope I am making sense .
Thanks to all replies in advance .

I had always know non-xll to be a trademark of Joseph Allen. Can you post a picture of the strop and a link to the collectors website?

the website is Stropper.com , Tom Willard . look in red area on site , click on type , click submit , scroll to bottom of page , page 2 , you
will see the strop i have , Perfect Belt Strop #20 , all info there . also found an ended item on the bay , Unwin & Rodgers C1830 straight razor .
I did not know they made straights before they were granted the trade mark NON XLL in 1838 . the journey continues .

Why not just post a direct link to it? Perfect Belt Strop #20
