Thread: new barbers strop

Hi all
Im having a new 3.25" barbers strop delivered tomorrow. 1 is a canvas that looks a bit course on the photo and the other is leather.
heres the plan with the leather. Rub it with over with a thick glass. put some lather on it then when dried rub that in with heel of hand and more rubbing with the glass. does that sound about right?

Any tips for the canvas strop as a prep thing?
