Default Anyone used Straight Razor Designs Roo Strop?

    The title says it all
I tried the search function, but could find nothing about this strop.
Where does it fall among the other SRD strops in terms of draw and feel?

    Thanks,
    Ian

I want to get one of these, I mean.... how can I not get one being the auzzie that I am!

They are meant to have a lot of drag and apparently they are really thin but strong. I have spoken to a few guys who make their own roo strops and they think they are awesome.

So if you like lots of draw and don't mind a thin strop it would be an excellent strop.

The Roo strop is a pretty new addition to the SRP line-up of strops.
I've seen Lynn talk about them, but cannot remember what he said about it.
Let's hope he or other who have used it chimes in.

I have a Roo strop from another maker, and I can tell you that the Roo hide makes a wonderful stropping material.

I would say medium draw unless you put a lot of pressure on it which is not needed. It is really thin but strong stuff and give a great result. All you need to do is keep the strop taught and you're there. If you get the poly webbing, you can actually hear the zing from it as the razor goes over the Roo. This is a fun strop!
