Thread: Strop conditioner that does not create drag

I recently came across some grape seed oil at a local health food store and decided to put it on an ambrose strop that I have (horse hide). Anyways it was a little dry and stiff and I was really tired of running my hand over it so I gave this oil a shot (it's used quite a bit as a skin conditioner due to it's great vitamins and absorption) and all I can say if wow it completely replenished the suppleness and didn't affect the natural draw. Any one have any similar use?

I like a little draw on my strop, makes it feel like I'm accomplishing something.
