    Default Pace Belting Co. Strop

    I just purchased a Pace Belting Co. Strop Horse Shell strop That is in excellent condition. Does anyone have any experience or know anything about these strops? I was wondering if I made a good purchase.

    I don't know any particulars about yours however back in the day these belting outfits made leather drive belts which were used to run machinery and as a sideline they made strops and I've never seen a bad one from any of these outfits and there were many.
