Default Holy new strop Tony Miller!!

So am about to shave but just HAD to post how AWESOME the new Tony Miller Old No. 2 3" strop I just got is!! Strop Draw NOW makes sense. I have been using an IL 827 Russian Leather strop and WOW what a difference. Now I love my 827 and it's not going anywhere but the Tony Mill is gorgeous. The manufacturing is beautiful and it feels like I'm stropping on a cloud!! There will be some adjusting to the width since I am used to doing the X patter with the 827 but just slowed down and made sure not to slice it....which I didn't!! Very VERY happy with the new addition to the den!!

I've got an old Tony Miller horsehide 2 1/2" that I like quite a bit. Glad Tony is still producing some. I know he had took some time off.

Glad to hear Tony is back up and running. I've never read a negative review of Tony's strops, quite the opposite actually. A few years ago his were top-of-the-ladder, and everybody wanted one, including me and mine still sees regular use. I'll bet if he's fairly active he'll give SRD a run for their money.

    Gentlemen,

I have two Tony Miller strops. The first, bought about two years ago, is a small 2" horsehide strop with a linen component and leather tethers. This is my travel strop. It's about as perfect a strop as you can get for travel. I use hotel door knobs to anchor the strop. It's beautifully made.

Two weeks ago my newest Tony Miller strop arrived. It's the old No. 2 Heirloom Steer hide 2 1/2" with linen component. It's exquisite in workmanship and performance. And it's beautiful. Tony Miller's strops are astonishing in performance and impeccable in production.

I too have a Tony Miller strop that I consider to be my best. He really knows what he is doing.

I picked up one of the new ones awhile back and love it too. Much better than latigo and the draw is just right. Tony makes great stuff!
